In 2010, Linda Allen participated as the "policy writer" for a team of public art experts, coordinated by Larry Beasley and Associates, to provide advice on the development of a public art policy for the Court of the Crown Prince and the Abu Dhabi Urban Planning Council. This involved a multi-day briefing and workshop process in Abu Dhabi, exploring principles and programs best suited to the Emirate. The draft strategy sets out a vision, principles, governance and administration, acquisitions and programme delivery, connoisseurship and custodianship, education and outreach.
