There are a variety of transitions associated with planning, services and local governance in BC's resort communities, particularly as they grow, and property ownership diversifies. CitySpaces, with the involvement of EcoSign Mountain Resort Planners, worked with the BC Resort Task Force to research and analyze the issues surrounding resort transitions. The report makes suggestions for those involved in ensuring that BC's resort communities remain competitive and financially sustainable, and that local "public interests" are well served.
