The Central Valley Greenway is a major transportation and recreation project linking Vancouver,
Burnaby and New Westminster. This 22-kilometre pathway links multiple destinations, communities
and workplaces, and serves commuter and recreational cyclists, pedestrians and other non-motorized transport.The project incorporates sustainable materials and construction methods, such as exposed surface drainage, recycled asphalt and reinforced earth slopes.
Working with the client and the primary consultant, PWL Landscape Architects, CitySpaces provided consultation services and prepared communications materials for the Vancouver portion of the Central Valley Greenway. Construction was completed in 2007.
