CitySpaces had the privilege of working with the BC Ministry of Housing and Municipal Affairs to develop the Provincial Policy Manual for Tenant Protection Bylaws. The intent of this work is to provide guidance for local governments in navigating the new authority for TPBs. We would like to thank everyone who participated in our virtual engagement this December, including staff from local governments across BC, the development community, and tenant advocacy groups.
As our province shifts towards more pro-active planning, this new authority will enable local governments to better monitor the impacts of redevelopment and provide municipalities to support tenants facing eviction from redevelopment.
