We are thankful for our funding partners at BC Housing for funding these 73 affordable homes in downtown Peachland, BC for seniors at risk of being unhoused. These much-needed homes are part of an overall housing strategy by the Province of BC and supported through their Community Housing Fund. The project is Phase 2 of a seniors-based two-phase affordable housing project. Phase 2 will join Phase 1 in being owned and operated by the Peachland Seniors Support Society. This building began construction in October 2024 and we applaud our General Contractor, VanMar, Architecture team at RLA and partners at the District of Peachland for having this project come to fruition.
