Downtown Eastside Community Needs Assessment
In 2005, BC Housing became responsible for BC’s Emergency Shelter Program. CitySpaces was commissioned to undertake a capacity review of existing service sector (104 emergency service providers), followed by development of program standards, performance measures, and an implementation plan to assist service providers with the transition to the newly revised program. The work involved extensive consultation with societies, agencies and organizations throughout BC.
